BRUÑAL 2005

Bruñal

Description: Bruñal is a unique wine made from grapes of the same name, all specially selected. The variety is in danger of extinction and it is a limited edition of 3000 bottles per year. These are red grapes growing in small, tight bunches, with a blue-black skin and a very hard pulp, not colored and with a distinctive taste. This wine is carefully made at a controlled temperature with malolactic fermentation and is fined naturally. It is then aged in high-quality French and Romanian (fine grain, medium charred) oak barrels for 12 months. Alcohol content 13,5º.

Taste, Analysis ... Deep cherry colour with mauvish tints, stable , clean and shiny.Nose: the finely charred wood exudes notes of cocoa, graphite and flint. In the background a good maturity of its fruity character is noticeable, reminiscent of certain cherries in liqueur and wild fruits.Palate:enter smoothly and powerfully, while heavily charged with fruit(currant and blackberry), slightly toasty, very good oak and grand meatiness, with a flavorful and lasting aftertaste.

Expert Corner ... Decant 1 hour before serving.
